
Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program provides 10-month non-degree professional development for mid-career Indonesian professionals in public policy, governance, journalism, public health, natural resources, and technology policy. Unlike Fulbright degree scholarships, this program does NOT lead to a US degree - fellows receive a Certificate of Participation and spend time in coursework, internships, field trips, and special projects. Minimum 5 years of professional experience required.

Detailed requirements
- - Indonesian citizen, currently residing in Indonesia
- - Mid-career professional in a leadership position: policymaker, planner, administrator, manager, NGO leader, or journalist
- - Minimum 5 years of full-time professional experience beyond first university degree (prior to August of fellowship year)
- - Currently employed - must have employer support and agreement for leave of absence
- - Working in the public sector or non-profit/NGO sector
- - NOT for those wishing to earn a US degree - this is a non-degree professional enrichment program
- - NOT open to those who have attended US graduate school for 1 academic year or more
- - NOT open to those who have participated in US government-sponsored exchange within the last 3 years
- - Fields covered: Communications/Journalism, Law/Governance, Natural Resources Policy, Public/Economic Policy, Public Health Policy, Technology Policy
