Detailed requirements

  • - Indonesian citizen, currently residing in Indonesia
  • - Age 21-29 at time of application (check current cycle for exact age limit)
  • - Hold a bachelor's degree (S1) or be in final year of undergraduate study
  • - Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • - Minimum TOEFL ITP 525 / TOEFL iBT 71 / IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
  • - Experience in teaching or tutoring Indonesian language (formal or informal)
  • - Strong interest in teaching Indonesian language and culture to Americans
  • - Not previously participated in a Fulbright exchange program
  • - Currently a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional
