The Holland Scholarship is a €5,000 one-time award in the first year, jointly funded by the Dutch government and participating universities. Important: NOT all Dutch universities participate - you must first verify that your target university is on the official participating list at studyinholland.nl. Each participating university has its own application deadline (typically Jan–Apr) and may add its own eligibility conditions.

Detailed requirements

  • - Nationality outside the European Economic Area (EEA) - Indonesian students are eligible
  • - Applying for a bachelor's or master's at a PARTICIPATING Dutch university (not all universities participate - check the list)
  • - Not previously studied in the Netherlands for a degree programme
  • - Meet the individual university's additional requirements (GPA, language, etc.)
  • - Participating universities include: TU Delft, University of Groningen, Leiden University, Utrecht University, University of Amsterdam (UvA), Erasmus University Rotterdam, Maastricht University, Radboud University, University of Twente, Wageningen University, and others - check the full list at studyinholland.nl
  • - Each participating university sets its own secondary criteria and may offer a limited number of scholarships
