The AIF Innovation Track is a postdoctoral fellowship for entrepreneurially-minded Singaporean/PR researchers to gain hands-on experience in deep-tech startups or VC firms overseas, enhancing their capabilities to commercialise research and build impactful ventures before returning to A*STAR.

Detailed requirements

  • - Same general eligibility as AIF Research Track (Singapore Citizen/PR; PhD within last 4 years; no existing bonds)
  • - Strong aptitude and aspiration to pursue roles in innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E)
  • - Preferably good publication records
  • - Placement in deep-tech startups (portfolio companies of top-tier VC/builder firms) or in VC/VB firms with entrepreneur-in-residence programmes
