The Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, awards 40 scholarships each year to international students wishing to enrol in Romanian-accredited state universities for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees. Only 40 seats annually; non-EU/EFTA citizens only; includes a free one-year Romanian language course. Dental Medicine, Stomatology, and Pharmacy are excluded.

  3. 3Step 3: Prepare required documents (passport, academic transcripts, recommendation letter, medical certificate, CV, photos, declaration of non-benefit)
  4. 4Step 4: Submit the complete file via the ARICE platform before 12 June 2026
  5. 5Step 5: Wait for the Ministry of Education selection result (emailed and posted on ARICE website)
  6. 6Step 6: If accepted, receive Letter of Acceptance and apply for Romanian study visa
