Detailed requirements

  • - Active undergraduate (S1/D4) student, minimum semester 3, majoring in Japanese language, literature, culture, or education
  • - Maximum age 29 as of 1 April 2026 (born between 2 April 1996 – 1 April 2008)
  • - Proficient in Japanese language
  • - Recommended by the applicant's home institution
  • - Must not be undergoing thesis defense during the selection process
  • - Required to return to Indonesia and continue studies after the program ends
