"la Caixa" INPhINIT Doctoral Fellowships
The "la Caixa" INPhINIT Doctoral Fellowships offer 60 fully funded PhD positions per year at Spanish or Portuguese research centres of excellence. Two tracks: Incoming (30 awards, STEM only — life sciences, physics, chemistry, engineering, technology, mathematics) and Retaining (30 awards, all disciplines including humanities and social sciences). The fellowship provides EUR 35,800/year gross salary + EUR 3,500/year research allowance + tuition coverage. Incoming track requires NOT residing in Spain 12+ months in last 3 years (perfect for Indonesian applicants). Retaining track requires being IN Spain 12+ months. - - Any nationality (Indonesia ✓)
- - Higher education degree eligible for PhD enrolment in Spain or Portugal
- - NOT already enrolled in a PhD programme at application time
- - English proficiency certified (TOEFL/IELTS)
- - Maximum 4 years of research experience since Master's defence
- - Incoming: NOT resided in Spain more than 12 months in the last 3 years
- - Retaining: MUST have resided in Spain more than 12 months in the last 3 years
