It fully funds bachelor, master, and PhD studies at 274+ CSC-affiliated Chinese universities covering tuition, accommodation, living allowance, and health insurance. Indonesia has a bilateral programme with China — Indonesian students apply via the Chinese Embassy (Category A) or through embassy-recommended institutions.

How to apply

- 2Step 2: Contact a professor/supervisor for an acceptance letter (recommended but not required)
- 3Step 3: Fill the university online application form
- 4Step 4: Fill the CSC Online Scholarship Application at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn — select Category A (via Embassy)
- 5Step 5: Complete the Foreigner Physical Examination Form and attach required health reports
- 6Step 6: Have all educational documents notarised
- 7Step 7: Submit physical documents to the university International Students Office via courier (e.g. DHL)
- 8Step 8: Await results — announced end of July; studies start September
