
Teagasc Walsh Scholars Programme
The Teagasc Walsh Scholars Programme offers fully funded PhD (18 slots) and Research MSc (2 slots) scholarships in agriculture, food, and rural development. Scholars are co-supervised by Teagasc and an Irish university partner (UCD, UCC, Trinity, UL, UoG). The programme funds 20 scholars annually at EUR 25,000/year stipend + EUR 6,000/year fees + research budget. Application is per-project with rolling deadlines through May 2026. All nationalities are eligible.
